HELP WANTED -SECRETARY

 

QUALIFICATIONS: Two years’ successful employment as a secretary; a working knowledge of basic office procedures and the operation of common office equipment and machines. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, 10-key calculator, copy machine and customer service.

 

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITES: Open and sort mail, type correspondence, file, assists in processing exemptions, answer telephone, collect money, make deposits, etc.

 

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 12-month salary paid biweekly with a 90 day probation.

Welcome to the Central Appraisal District of San Saba County!

The Central Appraisal District of San Saba is a political subdivision of the State of Texas responsible for the fair market appraisal of properties for the purpose of property tax assessment on behalf of the seven local taxing authorities in San Saba County.

Tax rates and ultimately the amount of taxes levied on property are determined by governing bodies of each of the taxing authorities.  Mineral, utility and industrial accounts are appraised for the district by Pritchard & Abbott, Inc. in Fort Worth, Texas. Real estate and personal property accounts are appraised locally by the district.

The Central Appraisal District of San Saba County also collects the taxes for each of the following taxing authorities:

San Saba ISD
Richland Springs ISD
Cherokee ISD
Hickory UWCD #1
